“Travel changes you. As you move through this life and this world you change things slightly, you leave marks behind, however small. And in return, life – and travel – leaves marks on you. Most of the time, those marks – on your body or on your heart – are beautiful. Often, though, they hurt.”
― Anthony Bourdain
I started this travel diary in 2012 as a way to document all my trips for my family and friends, as well as share my stories and experiences. As I evolved over the years, so did my little blog. Now, it is a place for adventurers, dreamers and jetsetters. I hope to inspire and be inspired.
To make living itself an art, that is the goal.
More about Jen
Originally from Connecticut, I traded the east coast life for the metropolitan charms of Chicago. When I’m not traveling, I’m busy working 9 to 5 as a nonprofit executive. Work-life balance is important to me and I have perfected the art of jet-setting on my free time and limited vacation days. I love art, history, and literature. I’m greedy for food and greedier for knowledge. I’m obsessed with coffee and will eat anything s’mores related. I’m partial to Spanish sangria and will always pick Asian food as my favorite. I read Hemingway and have a penchant for Baroque art. I’m an old soul with a young heart. I’ll try everything once.
